1 liter can contain upto 490ml oxygen but supplemental oxygen is upto 60 liters per minute. Do they plan to put a bubbler to replenish oxygen? And did they compute maximum oxygen transfer for the intestines?

They administered a "dose of non-oxygenated perfluorodecalin" but there is "oxygenation effect" observed. How?


Sounds like they were testing just for safety, rather than effect. It would be interesting to see if they tried holding their breaths.
