Reputable SLC SSD is almost impossible to find nowadays, I’ve always wondered why we can’t turn a large capacity TLC/QLC SSD into 1/3 or 1/4 capacity SLC SSD for use cases like ZFS SLOG or other kind of cache devices. Turns out it’s possible after all!
