Yes, I completely agree, I did feel insulted by it. There is a real anti-European/EU narrative in the US, with European countries described as collapsing, failed, etc (which is pretty obvious bullshit). if people are on the fence and ask stupid questions I think it’s ok? Sorry, it was just a genuine question. No one in my extended family has had serious problems or issues with insurance companies and I genuinely dont care if my records or even dna are public. Probably would support it for research purposes.
Most lawyer arguments that I heard so far, do not follow the pattern of "do a quick google search yourself".
They usually do have a law at hand and some verdicts. Especially if there supposedly are "hundreds of examples" I never heard of.

It will simply not end well, regardless of what you think, tell yourself, or try to lie and gaslight others with. Not for everyone. My understanding is that some people are more susceptible to experiencing anxiety when consuming, while others won’t even at high doses. I personally have pretty high anxiety in general, vaping <10mg of cannabis is really relaxing and makes my anxiety completely go away.
The only kind of bad experience I had was when I first tried a dry herb vape, it was maybe 1h after taking my ADHD meds and the combination resulted in the craziest out of body experience I’ve ever had (it wasn’t too bad, but pretty overwhelming at the time)

I love zig, in my experience claude code is extremely good with the language if you invest lots of time on design sessions, to the point where I spend >90% of my time only discussing design with claude. The fact it has easy access to sources of the whole stdlib by just downloading the zig tarball makes it really simple to have a feedback loop where it implement most of the boilerplate on its own. The quality of AI code is really something that can be well controlled with clear guidelines, strict reviews, comprehensive design sessions, and a great test infrastructure
Both nuclear and solar have conditions where they cannot generate energy. Nuclear is also slow to scale up/down. There is a need for something that has the properties of natural gas

How is it not economically viable given it is actively used since multiple decades in France? I also disagree with saying it is the cheapest, in practice it is actually pretty expensive compared to solar and wind, but economically nuclear makes a lot of sense, it fits a really good role in the grid
That’s not how economic viability works. EDF posted €11.4bn net profit in 2024[0] and France is the world’s largest net exporter of electricity precisely because nuclear is economically viable.
Government involvement doesn’t negate viability, it enables it, just like with roads, ports, or any other infrastructure requiring long-term capital deployment.
